Selection of 2025 Finalists

From 20 to 22 November, a jury of representatives from European partner venues and artists will gather at the French Institute in Paris to select the 12 Finalists for the 2025 edition of the circusnext Platform.
From 115 applications received for the 2025 edition, 29 projects by 38 authors were selected by 11 national pre-selection committees across Europe. From August to November 2024, the pre-selected authors participated in a 10-day collective lab hosted by Platform member venues.
At the end of this second selection phase, held in Paris from November 20 to 22, 12 finalists will be selected. They will receive support from circusnext and its European partner venues—including co-productions, residencies, work-in-progress showings, and training—and will move on to the final selection stage in May 2025: the selection of the 4 Laureates at the Théâtre de la Cité internationale in Paris, France.
